The British Military Garrison Brunei (BGB) held its first ever open day on 11-June-2010 from 9am to 5:30pm at the Brunei Garrison’s sports Pitches, J16, Near Tuker Lines, Seria.

This is giving the opportunities  to learn more about the British Forces and the Gurkhas here in Brunei.

Gurkhas have been known to be fearsome Napalese fighters. “Better to die than be a coward” is the motto of the world-famous Nepalese Gurkha soldiers who are an integral part of the British Army.

They still carry into battle their traditional weapon - an 18-inch long curved knife known as the kukri.

No problem at all, one hand carrying the 25kg load. This is normally used for their operational fitness test 3 which they need to run 4.8km within 39min!!

Still she smiles.......

One of the most popular attraction to the public which includes kids and adults was the Sniper booth. I over heard the public was mentioning "Counter Strike".

Schmidt & Bender lens of a sniper scope, true 2000-meter capability but I'm only legal to shoot with my 5D MKII.

The Sniper rifles is much too having for this young boy. It looks so easy when playing the game of "Counter Strike".

I tried this myself and I did it succesfully but still I will keep shooting with my EOS 🙂
