Green Charity Sale : Tzu-Chi (K.B)


Green Charity Sale 2010 was held at CHMS (Kuala Belait) Hall organised by Tzu-Chi Foundation (Kuala Belait) last Sunday (5th Sep 2010).

I gained knowledge in the plastic waste collection during the charity event. I didn’t know until recently that you can make fantastic clothing fabric from recycled plastic bottles.

For residents in Belait district unaware of Tzu Chi’s Recycling Day, Tzu Chi (K.B) holds its regular recycling activities on the first Sunday of every month at dedicated recycling point.

A plastic bottle thrown into a Taipei recycling bin could be reincarnated as a blanket to warm disaster victims in any of 20 countries, thanks to a unique project by the world’s largest Buddhist charity.

I didn't know until recently that you can make fantastic clothing fabric from recycled plastic bottles.

Expect health personal to check your hemoglobin levels. This will involve a small prick on your finger. It will need to be within the healthy range before you can give blood, to ensure that giving blood won't leave you feeling anemic.

Determine if you are eligible to donate blood.
